Thermographic testing (TT) - LEVEL I and II

TRAINING COURSE (TT)

LEVEL I and II

Thermographic testing (TT) – based on recording changes in thermal (thermal fields) of controlled objects caused by defects.

Thermal methods of non-destructive control use thermal energy distributed in the control facility as a test energy. The temperature field of the surface of the object is a source of information on the characteristics of the heat transfer process, which in turn depends on the presence of internal or external defects.

Advantages of this method:

  • can display a visual image to help compare temperatures in a large area
  • enables the capture of moving targets in real time;
  • enables the detection of emergency elements before they fail;
  • Measurement in areas where other methods are not possible (low-temperature objects) or pose health risks;
  • makes it easier to find defects (cracks) in columns or other metal parts.

TUV NORD Baltik invites anyone wishing to undergo Thermographic testing (TT) and qualify in one or more industrial and production sectors to one of the qualification levels.
